Capt. James, owner/operator of Fin & Feather Guide Service, is also an experienced waterfowl guide who has been taking out duck hunters along the Texas Gulf Coast for more than 15 years.  He specializes in duck hunting among the reeds and mangroves on the tidal flats of Esprito Santo Bay and goose and crane hunting on the ricefield prairies to the north.

Beginning in September, when the blue-winged teal arrive and continuing through the end of the general season in late January Capt. James will be guiding both morning and afternoon duck hunts.  Pintails, redheads, bluebills, and teal are the most common ducks you will see working the bays on most hunts, mixed in with some bonus birds like bufflehead, wigeon, and gadwall.

Combo hunts are available during the teal season in September and again during the duck season.  There is nothing quite like doing a "CAST & BLAST" where you  will go after trout and/or reds in the afternoon and duck hunt in the  morning.
